Site

My first encounter with Kimi ni Todoke was in mid 2008, when there were only a couple of scanlated chapters out (about 1.5 volumes or so). Although the idea of a couple in which a popular guy falls for the shy girl isn't that unusual, I loved the way the characters were characterized. Because scanlations were slow, and the manga was not licensed at the time, I had no other means than going through the Japanese scans, although I was fortunate enough to find summaries to help understand the story.

The idea of creating a shrine for this couple was one that's been around for quite some time. However, being the slow site builder that I am, I needed some sort of push to actually get started. In this case, it was the V-Day marathon over at Amassment which got me to finally start on it.

A huge thanks goes out to the scanlation groups (Dragon Voice, Fateful Encounters, Mango Scans and Loyal Kiss) and Viz, whose scanlations and volumes I used and refered to in the creation of this website.
